Why Maren Morris Didn’t Want To ‘Separate Duties’ As New Mom And Singer

There is a Christmas tradition that has been in Maren Morris‘ bones for more than a decade.
In! Exclusive new video, the “My Church” singer shared what she and her family are up to during the holiday season ahead of CMA Country Christmas, which airs Dec. 8. And Maren made it clear that her traditions weren’t short on fun.
“My favorite family holiday tradition is that we go to my mom’s side of the family usually on Christmas Eve and we do White Elephant or Bad Santa,” Maren said. “We play this game, but we also play center left right. It’s like a game of dice where you win money.”
Maren noted that the Left Right Center activity is something she and those close to her have been playing for some time. As Maren said, “A little Christmas game is fun.”
“We’ve done that for the past 15 years,” she said. “It’s just fun because you can get loud and crazy and loud with your family and sometimes leave with some. And then we go back to my parents and have Christmas cookies and we watch Christmas movies and we fall asleep .”
