Why Jenna Bush Hager doesn’t want her kids to write Santa lists

Dear Santa, you may not receive a list of Jenna Bush Hagerchildren this year.

Before celebrating Christmas with her husband Henry Hager and their three children Mila9, Poppy7 and Hal3, the Today The show’s co-host hopes to keep the fun under the tree to a manageable level.

“I’m more into experiments,” Jenna said Hoda Kotb on the December 22 episode of Today. “I like fun trip or concert or whatever.”

One experience this family can’t say no to is visiting Santa Claus. But while discussing the subject of disappointment around the holidays, Jenna developed a rule that can benefit other parents.

“It’s all about waiting,” she said. “We have to go to Santa and sit on his lap and see Mrs. Clause and Henry say, ‘Should the kids be writing a list?’ and I’m like, ‘No, because I don’t want them to think that Santa Claus is definitely going to bring the 10 presents.'”
