YouTube group The Sidemen will travel to West Ham’s London stadium for their annual charity game this weekend.

The popular British band, led by KSI, will take on a team of YouTube All-Stars in the fifth installment of this highly anticipated event.

The original edition of the Sidemen charity match took place at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton in 2016.

The next three editions were all held at The Valley in London, home of Charlton Athletic.

But increased interest in the charity game saw the Sidemen leave the 27,000 capacity Charlton ground for West Ham.

Why is West Ham Stadium hosting the Sidemen Match?

The Sidemen have chosen to upgrade the venue where their match is taking place following unprecedented demand last year.

More than 170,000 people lined up for tickets to 2022 West Ham’s 62,000 capacity London stadium, allowing more people through the door.

This will in turn raise more money for many charities including Bright Side and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Original Sidemen member Ethan Payne, better known as Behzinga, is also a strong Hammers fan.
