But these weeks of mobilization further blur its place on the political spectrum. “I wonder where it is located”, worries a former close to the associative environment. “I see him more on the left, on humanist values, even if he doesn’t really like labels,” said Yann Le Baraillec. “He is right in his boots with very strong convictions”. Overcoming protest, a challenge
For him, the union is built around a base of ideas that could be summed up by “the pandemic is not a massacre, the people who need it must be treated and protected, the debt linked to the covid must not generate poverty and the health pass is a form of apartheid ”. Defending himself from any conspiracy, he explains: “I am not against vaccines. This crisis was managed by panic and that is scary ”. If his Facebook account has been suspended for three days, he will remain on the network “to find people where they are”.
A divisive character, the teacher at Diwan believes he is making things happen. “When I put forward ideas on the station district or when I mentioned real estate problems years ago, people laughed at me…” So visionary or megalomaniac, Bertrand Deléon with a website to his name ? The gap between the “sympathetic character” and his virulent writings questions his personality. “To be critical is to think that we can do better! », He believes. This Saturday, Bertrand Deléon will again be at the head of the procession. “The demo is not an end in itself. Our message is to show that we are responsible.
