The tournament then lasts seven weeks before the final on Saturday 28 October.

It should be held at the Stade de France in Paris.

Rugby World Cup 2023: dates and how to follow

The 2023 Rugby World Cup will start on Friday September 8 and end with the final.

The games will take place in nine cities: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Lille, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, Nice, Nantes and Toulouse.

Every match will be shown live on free-to-air TV on the ITV network, with the majority of matches on ITV1 and some on ITV4.

ITVX will also stream each clash online.
