FORMER Saturday Night Live writer and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David is gearing up for his next project: a docuseries about his own life.
The Larry David Story is set to premiere on HBO early next month.
Who is Larry David?
Larry David, 74, is an actor, television writer and comedian from Brooklyn, New York.
In his twenties and thirties, David worked odd jobs in New York City as he tried to break into the world of stand-up comedy.
In 1984, he was offered a writing position on Saturday Night Live.
David’s time on SNL was difficult and he ended up parting ways with the show after just one season.
After his tenure at SNL, he wrote the pilot for the TV sitcom Seinfeld, which ended up being a big hit.
David worked on Seinfeld for seven seasons.
In 1999, his new show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, premiered.
David writes and stars in Curb, which after a hiatus of several years is still going strong.
