GARETH BALE appeared happier than ever to reunite with his former Real Madrid teammates earlier this week, less than a month after his sour exit.
The 33-year-old bid farewell to Los Blancos last month after a nine-year spell at Madrid.

He quickly fell out of favor with Carlo Ancelotti last season and as a result he was limited to just five La Liga appearances.
At the end of the campaign, he had no intention of extending his stay and decided to leave when his contract expired.
Despite his lack of playing time, Bale had a long list of potential suitors to offer him a new contract, including Cardiff City.
But he opted to sign for MLS side LAFC instead and signed a 12-month deal worth around £1.3m.
As Bale’s Real Madrid career slowly fades into a distant memory, he was still eager to greet his former teammates when they arrived in Los Angeles earlier this week.
A video posted on Instagram showed the winger waving and embracing the Madrid players during a pre-season training session.
He was also happy to chat with former boss Ancelotti, despite previous arguments.
Bale had no problems settling into his new life in MLS.

He scored his first goal for LAFC last week in the club’s clash with Sporting Kansas City.
The Wales captain was substituted for his second club appearance in the 65th minute of the match and went into net in the 83rd minute to make it 2-0.
Speaking after the match, he said: “[It was] it’s good to come in and score a goal to help the team get the three points.
“So from a personal point of view it’s good to stand out, and especially to get the three points.”
