Watch Apple’s WWDC keynote live here – TechCrunch

The official kickoff of summer is just around the corner, which can only mean one thing: it’s time to hide in a dark room and watch Apple talk about the future of its operating ecosystems. for a few hours. It’s WWDC week with Cupertino (well, mostly on the internet, really), and as usual things kick off with a big speech on Monday. June 6 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.

Also, as usual (you can set your smartwatch to that stuff), we’ll be following, bringing you the news as it happens. I wrote a bit about what to expect from the event here. The long and short is:

  • iOS 16 with an updated lock screen, including new widgets and, perhaps, the prelude to an always-on display
  • A bumper year for iPadOS 16, with more multitasking and work support
  • A preview of macOS 13 Mammoth, with some updated settings and apps
  • An improved battery mode for watchOS
  • Maybe hardware? Could we finally see the M2 chip for Mac and a long-talked-about AR/VR headset

Find out the answer to all this and more by tuning in live at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET.
