More than 100 firefighters from Fire and Rescue New South Wales (FRNSW) have been dispatched to tackle a major blaze in the Surry Hills area of Sydney, Australia.
Some of the walls of a multi-storey building collapsed, with the FRNSW saying it feared the fire could spread to neighboring buildings.
Officials said the inferno had a “10th alarm” status, the most serious type of fire.
A firefighter suffered minor burns to the arm, but it is not yet known if there were any other injuries or fatalities.
