The activists had completed a 2-day trek from Küblis to Davos, where they staged an authorized protest.
Placards reading “Tax the rich, save the climate” and “Global economic failure” were displayed in front of 1,500 business leaders – including representatives of oil companies BP, Chevron and Saudi Aramco – who attended the opening of the meeting on Monday.
