Video shows woman flying 27 puppies on plane to prevent euthanasia

A video of a woman and her two friends flying 27 puppies crammed into a small plane to keep them from being shot has gone viral.

The video was recorded by Cassandra Bergeron when she and her friends crammed the puppies onto a small plane and transported them from Alabama to Florida, to prevent them from being euthanized.

TikTok video has over 13.4 million views, according to a report by The daily mail. Captioned “Guess how many puppies we saved?” The video shows Ms. Bergeron sitting with a group of puppies next to the pilot, while her friends hold the other dogs in the back of the plane.

Talk to Daily paws, Ms. Bergeron said she couldn’t stop smiling all the time. “I was in pure happiness. I didn’t want to land, ”she said.

While the animals were rescued in July, video was recorded on September 29 when Ms Bergeron and her friends were contacted by a pilot friend to save the puppies.

The women contacted Michael Young, a professor at the University of Central Florida, who is also a pilot. Mr. Young has rescued more than 7,000 shelter dogs from puppy rescue flights in Alabama, reported The daily mail.

The video was recorded during their 45-minute flight from the Enterprise Animal Shelter in Alabama to Florida, where the puppies were handed over to volunteers who took them to shelters in Orlando.
