Meanwhile, the Croatian team was greeted in Zagreb with fireworks, flags and cheers. Although they did not reach the final, they returned as heroes after securing 3rd place in the competition. They beat Morocco in the “little final”.

And finally after their return to Paris in second position, “Les Bleus” welcomed their fans to Place de la Concorde to thank them for their support. Despite a heartbreaking defeat against Argentina, the French public applauded their champions.
