‘Tyson Fury says a lot of bullshit’

Dillian Whyte is adamant that Tyson Fury’s famous mind games will have no impact on him when they meet on Saturday night.

The challenger has been quiet for the majority of the build-up to his world heavyweight title fight, which is live on talkSPORT this weekend, but spoke out over the past week.

Indeed, Whyte and his team have had a number of disputes with Gypsy King’s UK co-promoter Frank Warren, some of which aired in a clash involving Whyte’s lawyer on talkSPORT.

The challenger has now given an interview to BT Sport, in which he insisted he doesn’t care about the comments Fury made in his absence.

“I don’t care what Tyson Fury says,” Whyte explained, “Tyson Fury says a lot of bullshit.

“Her mouth is like a toilet, she keeps tugging and tugging and tugging and tugging.

“It’s Tyson Fury, he just chases any random shit that comes out of his mouth.

“I don’t care what he says or does, me and him are going to argue regardless.

“We are going to get in there and we are going to fight regardless.

“I don’t care what he says, I don’t care about mind games, I don’t care about any of that.

“Look, I’m a fighter, I’m a warrior. If he wants it anytime, anywhere, I’m down.

“He can’t get into my head, if he gets into my head he’s just going to find a lot of disturbance in there so I don’t care.”

Whyte shared the opinion by not showing up at the fight’s initial kickoff press conference last month.

However, he has now pointed out that Fury had done the same before his canceled rematch with Wladimir Klitschko in 2016.

Fury did not attend one of the press conferences for his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, which was eventually canceled

“With Tyson Fury, expect anything,” Whyte continued.

“He’s a man who was weighed in and taken out of the fight on fight day.

“He weighed in to fight Alexander Ustinov and he retired that day.

“He is a man who retired from the fight against Wladimir Klitschko [rematch] and just showed a picture of his ankle.

“People forget Tyson Fury didn’t show up to Wladimir Klitschko [rematch] press conference.

“Everyone is giving me stick, but Tyson Fury didn’t come to Wladimir Klitschko’s press conference.”
