Turkey’s city of Adana reeling from Monday’s devastating earthquake

Rescuers in Adana, southern Turkey, continue to search for survivors trapped under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Monday’s powerful earthquake.
As the death toll climbs in the city of 1.7 million people, despair and anger grow as freezing cold hampers rescue efforts.
Euronews international correspondent Anelise Borges is in Adana and saw crews and locals racing against time throughout the night.
“Rescuers have been working around the clock trying to pull one more person out of the rubble, from what’s left of the building, you see me behind me here,” she said, gesturing at the devastation behind her.
