Trump hits out at Biden in evidence-less rant as he frets over looming charges

Donald Trump lashed out at Joe Biden on Sunday as he appears to be consumed with anger and concern over the Manhattan District Attorney’s investigation into a silent payment his lawyer made to a movie star for adults on his behalf in 2016.

In his latest rant, the former president accused the Biden administration of working hand-in-hand with Alvin Bragg, the prosecutor who launched a grand jury investigation in January who now appears to be on the verge of indictment.

“Biden wants to pretend he had nothing to do with the Manhattan DA’s assault on democracy when in fact he ‘stuffed’ the DA’s office with people from the injustice department, including including a senior DC DOJ official who actually runs the ‘Horseface’ Witch Hunt. Bragg is a backward racist (Soros), who takes his orders from DC,” the former president said in a post on Sunday. at Truth Social, using a derogatory nickname for Ms. Daniels in the process.

He went on to boast that he evaded charges in other unspecified investigations. Mr. Trump’s reference to a supposed DoJ agent in Mr. Bragg’s office likely refers to Mr. Bragg’s December hiring of former acting associate prosecutor Matthew Colangelo, although he is not clear whether Mr. Colangelo is even implicated in Mr. Trump’s case and there is absolutely no evidence of any collusion between Mr. Colangelo and his former DoJ colleagues.
