Hudson-Odoi close to Chelsea exit

Callum Hudson-Odoi could be allowed to leave Chelsea on a reduced fee this summer.

Upon his return from a loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, the winger will only have 12 months left on his contract in the capital.

Athletic report that Chelsea must accept Hudson-Odoi’s decision, if he decides to leave for regular football.

Tottenham beat Arsenal for Trossard

Brighton have rejected a £12million bid from Tottenham for Leandro Trossard.

A second offer is expected, according to The Athletic, as Arsenal consider a move for the winger.

Standard Sport reported today that the Gunners have been offered the chance to bid for the Belgian after he fell out of favor with Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.

Trossard’s contract expires in just 18 months.

Jose Mourinho joked that Roma simply couldn’t afford to spend like former club Chelsea.

The signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk has taken the Blues’ spending since taking over in May above the £400million mark, even before the imminent summer arrivals of RB Leipzig and French striker Christopher Nknunku .
