The summer transfer window is fast approaching and Premier League clubs are busy finalizing their targets as the season draws to a close.
This could be one of the busiest summer markets for a long time, with markets like Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham expected to be very busy.

Antonio Conte will want to see players join Spurs this summer
After a full year of crowds and a new TV deal set to kick in, we could be in for an exciting summer.
The transfer market won’t officially reopen until Friday June 10, but that won’t stop clubs from preparing their deals, as we saw with Erling Haaland’s blockbuster move to Manchester City.
What are the other rumors and headlines? talkSPORT.com takes a look at the latest…
Tottenham
Tottenham want to make permanent additions to Romero and Kulusevski
Spurs will be looking to kick off their spending by signing Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski permanently.
fabrice romano reckons Antonio Conte sees the two as key players for his side next year, and their temporary deals will become permanent at a combined cost of £67.5million.
Kulusevski joined Spurs on loan from Juventus in January, while Romero signed this summer with Atalanta.
Both have become vital in 2022, and completing that double whammy would be a great way to start Tottenham’s transfer window.
Darwin Nunez
Benfica’s Uruguayan striker Nunez is wanted
The race for Nunez could be one of the most exciting transfer battles in a long time, with Man United, Newcastle and Arsenal all linked.
The Uruguay international has enjoyed a sublime season in Portugal as he scored 34 goals in 41 appearances.
Six of those strikes have come in the Champions League, so he has proven himself at the highest level and is keen to move up to the Premier League.
And now The Athletic are reporting that Benfica have fielded their Stuttgart replacement, striker Sasa Kalajdzic.
The Portuguese giants have also lowered their asking price to around £51million, which should be of interest to a lot of top-flight clubs.

Jesus looks set to leave Manchester City after Erling Haaland’s arrival
The Manchester City striker has been linked with a move to Arsenal for the past two weeks, and it looks like the Gunners are set to make a move soon.
Romano believes Arsenal will make an official offer for the Brazilian in the “coming days”, as Mikel Arteta looks to sign a world-class striker.
Next year, Jesus’ playing time could be limited at the Etihad, and he’s looking for a way out.
Arsenal would guarantee him first-team football, but if he misses the Champions League, could he look elsewhere?
Dean Henderson

Henderson has ambitions to return to the England squad
According to the Manchester Evening News, Newcastle are keen to bring Henderson to St James’ Park in the next phase of their project.
They claim the Toon are preparing a deal for the 25-year-old, who is keen to get more minutes.
Newcastle tried to sign Henderson during the January window, and they are ready to return for the former loanee from Sheffield United.
However, any deal is more likely to be a loan deal as the goalkeeper’s contract does not expire until 2025 and he is reportedly on £110,000-a-week.
Paul Pogba

Pogba’s time at Old Trafford is almost over
It looks like Pogba’s time with United is almost over and a return to Juventus seems to be on the cards for the Frenchman.
GOAL claim the World Cup winner has been offered a three-year contract in Italy with the Old Lady.
Pogba’s contract with United expires at the end of the campaign, and there are no indications that Erik Ten Hag wants to keep him.
A return to Italy makes sense for Pogba, and he will hope he can get back to his best after an overall disappointing spell in Manchester.
