Top House Republican: Elon Musk to post evidence Biden admin pushes Twitter to censor conservatives

A former FBI employee is likely to take the hot seat after it was revealed over the weekend that FBI officials were having weekly meetings with Twitter ahead of the 2020 election to censor the computer story Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., Joined “Fox & Friends First” Monday to discuss why James Baker, a former FBI general counsel previously involved in the Russia collusion probe, will now likely be questioned. before Congress after becoming Twitter’s assistant attorney.

“Baker and [former Twitter executive] Vijaya Gadde are probably the two most high-profile Twitter employees we want to hear from,” Comer told co-hosts Ashley Strohmier and Griff Jenkins. or February, as soon as we can get them before the oversight committee, they have to search very hard to try to find evidence of why they deleted this story.”

ELON MUSK REVEALS WHAT LED TO TWITTER DELETING HUNTER BIDEN STORY IN 2020

FBI officials reportedly met with Twitter employees weekly ahead of the 2020 election, briefing them on “hack and leak operations” involving Hunter Biden.

Those warnings preceded Twitter censoring the New York Post’s explosive October 2020 report on Hunter Biden’s business dealings found on his laptop, citing his “pirated material” policy. At the time, the FBI had been in possession of his laptop for nearly a year.

“This was a top-level government cover-up to protect Joe Biden,” Comer said. “Let’s remember what they’re protecting here. They’re protecting the laptop and the contents of the laptop, which not only shows that Joe Biden knew full well what his son and brothers were doing when it came to drug trafficking. influence with our adversaries, it shows that Joe Biden was very committed to this effort and that is something that should concern all Americans.”

Comer, who is expected to chair the House Oversight Committee when the GOP takes control next month, insisted there was more to come about Big Tech’s censorship of conservative voices after the Twitter CEO Elon Musk released the explosive Twitter files over the weekend.

“Elon Musk is going to slowly produce more information and more evidence of involvement. Remember, what he produced this weekend was pre-Biden. It was the Biden campaign and the FBI. What I predict is you’re going to see in the weeks and months to come are things the Biden administration has done to suppress conservative free speech and to encourage Twitter to ban certain people who are hostile to the Biden administration in their policies,” he added.

Former FBI Deputy Director Chris Swecker echoed Comer’s sentiment in “Fox & Friends First.” He also spoke about Twitter’s involvement in censoring the high-profile story ahead of the election and his concern about Baker’s potential conflict of interest.

Swecker said that although he does not know him personally, he presents himself as part of the “repression machine”.

“There is a lifetime ban on dealing with companies over which…the FBI has jurisdiction…and has business with them,” Swecker said. “And then there’s a one-year ban on any kind of contact with the FBI. So…I don’t know, I don’t know him. I don’t know his policy. But I know that reflects, to my opinion and that of others…on the FBI that he is part of this suppression machine.”

Despite the explosive findings released over the weekend, Swecker said he was sadly not surprised by the information released.

“They’re messing up the top ranks of the FBI with ideologues that really come from the Justice Department, who…all the appointments at the top are political appointments to the Justice Department under Merrick Garland,” Swecker said.

“I’m afraid they’ve become the most political Justice Department I’ve seen in 40 years.”
