Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson Joke They Have the $17 Billion Secret to a Successful Marriage

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson attended the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday night, just a day after Wilson performed at the Academy’s MusiCares Persons of the Year event, honoring by Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson.

Hanks praised his wife’s performance, telling Fox News Digital, “It was a bottle of champagne that went uncorked…Everyone was sipping and celebrating, I would say.”

“I love you, honey,” Wilson told Hanks. “That’s so good,” she said of her descriptive compliment.

Wilson, 66, performed alongside Sebastián Yatra at the event on Friday, which drew plenty of Hollywood stars.

The couple, who have been married for nearly 35 years, have opened up about what they believe is the secret to a successful relationship.

Before detailing this coveted information, Hanks and Wilson laughed and crossed their eyes.

“Talk about it. Always let the press know there’s a secret, and we bottled it up,” Hanks said, of what keeps his relationship with Wilson going.

Wilson couldn’t contain his laughter as Hanks joked, adding, “We’re not going to tell anyone.”

“And we’ll sell it to you individually, for $17 billion,” the ‘A Man Called Otto’ actor joked.

As they posed together on the red carpet, the couple also took pictures together inside the party.

Hanks and Wilson were pictured mingling with other stars, including ‘Yellowstone’ star Kevin Costner and musician Sheryl Crowe.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will air on February 5.
