Tom Brady is set to appear on “The Match” on July 6, but maybe he should get ready for an audition on Broadway.
As Brady took to the golf course to work with James Corden before the game, the late-night talk show host asked Brady what he thought of the musical “Hamilton”. Brady has confirmed that he has seen the show live three times.
“Doesn’t everyone like this?” Brady asked.

Brady then demonstrated his dedication to it as Corden brought him in to perform a “Carpool Karaoke” segment where the two sang the first number of the musical in their golf cart. There were a few lyric errors, but overall the duo weren’t too bad.
Brady admitted before the karaoke session that he was not a fan of musical theater in his youth and told Corden that he despised his father’s taste for music.

“When I was a kid – that was when we had CDs – you get in your dad’s car and open the CD book, right? Brady said, “And I was listening to, like, hip-hop music and rock music, and you would get in his car and it was, like, show tunes. And I was like, ‘You know what, daddy? When I’m older, I’ll never listen to show songs in the car. And now it’s like, literally, you put it on and you hear the kids singing. “
Safe to say if young Brady could see that he would bow his head in shame.
But hey, at least he would be proud of his seven Super Bowl rings.
