Sports commentator Jim Gray asked Gronkowski what he would say to the current Buccaneers squad ahead of their game against the Cowboys.

“I mean, go ahead and do what you do. I mean basically every player on this list has been in a playoff game situation. I mean, yeah, there’s a couple rookies and a couple new guys who may not have, but you just gotta go, and you just gotta play your game,” he said.

“You don’t have to overthink it at all. And just make sure you run every play. Also step it up a notch. I mean, when that 3rd down has to be done, someone has to pick it up , someone has to break two tackles, get the ball over the line, whatever it takes to make that extra play and to get that momentum in. And that’s what’s huge about the playoffs.

He added that he would be cheering on Brady and the Buccaneers and advised the quarterback to “throw the ball.”
