Bayern remain unbeaten in the league while United suffered their third defeat of the season on Saturday with a 3-1 loss to Brighton.
Muller in particular seems very confident in his team’s chances, with a video on social media appearing to show his calm.
Although it was a very important match, the 34-year-old could be seen galloping near a pitch at Bayern’s training ground.
He also had a smirk on his face as his team prepares for their return to a competition they last won in 2020.
Bayern was only able to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season, losing to eventual winners Manchester City.
Wednesday night’s clash will see Harry Kane face a Premier League opponent for the first time since leaving Tottenham in the summer.
Such a tie also follows a report that the 30-year-old’s preference was to join United next summer, even if he did so for free.
Despite this, he has already scored four goals in his first five appearances for the club.
Kane could very well line up alongside Muller for the clash, representing a huge chance for either team to kick off their Champions League campaign in style. Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen are the other teams in Group A.
