It’s us continues to take viewers on a roller coaster of emotions.
In the penultimate episode of the series, mandy mooreThe character of Rebecca Pearson dies surrounded by her family. Suffice to say, it was a heartbreaking moment for Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Kate (Chrissy Metz).
But Mandy promises the series finale won’t be so sad. In fact, she warned viewers not to expect every issue to be fixed. “People who expect things to tie in perfectly with every character and every story have to let go of that idea,” she explained to Weekly Entertainment, “Because that’s not the reality of life anyway.”
In some ways, it has to be, she said, because the Pearson family doesn’t cease to exist when the series ends. As Mandy said, “You end up telling a person’s story and it’s like, ‘Yeah, but they’re having kids or they’ll continue to have a life. And their kids will have kids will have kids This story could go on forever and ever and ever.'”
