the National Assembly examines the government’s plan – RT in French

The deputies examine in first reading the text which will have to replace, from June 2, the state of health emergency and which includes in particular the use of the controversial “sanitary pass”.

The National Assembly examines the bill on ending the health crisis at first reading on May 10 from 4 p.m. The text prepared by the government aims to support the lifting of the restrictions put in place in the context of the health emergency.

But it is now towards the thorny question of the “health pass” that the executive wants to put in place that attention is paid in particular. As it stands, the text provides for the use of this tool for events bringing together more than 1,000 people, such as concerts and sporting events, where it will be necessary to present a negative Covid test or a vaccination certificate.
