Nusr- and charges £ 5,000 for the service
A dinner at London’s Salt Bae restaurant was slapped with a gigantic service charge of £ 5,000 after racking up a bill totaling more than the UK average salary.
After spending £ 37,023.10 on the Nusr-and site in Knightsbridge, the bill payer shared a snapshot of the tantalizing receipt and accused Turkish-born internet icon Nusret Gökçe of “taking the p ** s” .
The reviewer shelled out £ 850 for the Golden Tomahawk, as well as £ 400 for 16 Baklava, £ 14 for the sautéed broccoli and £ 12 for a side of mashed potatoes.
On top of that, they paid £ 9,100 for a 1996 vintage Petrus bottle and £ 19,900 for two 2003 Petrus bottles.
But to add salt to the wound, the restaurant was subsequently stung with a 15% service charge of £ 4,829.10
After eating out last week, the receipt was captured on Snapchat and shared on Reddit with the caption: “It’s just taking the p ** s.”
