The Jonas Brothers shared a group hug on stage during their first performance since Joe Jonas filed for divorce from his wife of four years, Sophie Turner.
The frontman appeared in good spirits as he took the stage Wednesday night at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, alongside his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.
Joe was notably not wearing his wedding band as he wore a pink patterned jacket with matching pants layered under a white t-shirt. He completed the look with white sneakers.
Earlier today, the father-of-two was seen taking the former couple’s daughters – Willa, 3, and a one-year-old whose name begins with the letter D – for breakfast at Los Angeles.
Joe, 34, filed for divorce from Turner, 27, on Tuesday, saying their union was “broken irretrievably”.
The musician’s filing says that while the couple’s children primarily reside with him, he wants “shared parental responsibility” after their final separation.
According to the documents, the duo have an ironclad prenuptial agreement in place.
In a joint statement shared via Instagram on Wednesday morning, they explained, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to end our marriage amicably.
“There is a lot of speculation as to why, but it is really a joint decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our privacy wishes for us and our children.”
However, a close friend of the singer told Page Six that “divorce was a last resort” for him.

“He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his daughters,” the source explained, adding that “an unhappy home is not a home. “.
Our insider went on to say that Joe and the ‘Game of Thrones’ star — who tied the knot in May 2019 — were “going through it this year” and had “a lot of disagreements.”
While our insider didn’t elaborate on the nature of the disagreements, sources told TMZ that the two men had “very different lifestyles.”
According to an insider, “She likes to party; he likes to stay at home.
Although Turner was spotted snapping photos at a bar in England – where she was working on a TV series – days before the split was announced, Joe called her a “relationship homebody” in a April 2020 TikTok.
That same year, the actress told Conan O’Brien that she “loved” the coronavirus pandemic-induced lockdown, calling herself an “introvert.”
“If I could stay home all day, I would,” she said at the time, “so that’s great for me.”
Meanwhile, sources close to Joe told TMZ that incriminating footage of Turner captured via a Ring camera also contributed to his desire to quit.
