Texas cop arrested after shooting lady ‘multiple times’ in off-duty driving dispute

A Texas police officer accused of shooting a female “multiple times” all through an off-duty driving dispute has been arrested, officers say.

Copperas Cove law enforcement officer Eric Stoneburner was charged with aggravated assault in the shooting of Lacresha Murray, who survived her accidents. Stoneburner resigned from the law enforcement division ahead of turning himself in to authorities, officials say. Texas Rangers investigated the circumstance.

In accordance to law enforcement, Murray was driving west on a household road and Stoneburner was likely east when she turned her car or truck across two lanes and reversed into a driveway. Stoneburner stopped as Murray backed up then commenced to go her truck, law enforcement say.

As he drove by, Murray pulled ahead and each stopped to prevent hitting just about every other. Stoneburner then proceeded east, police say. Murray handed Stoneburner a brief length later, “almost striking” his car or truck, police say.
