Sylvester Stallone looks back on difficult times.
A month after annulling his divorce with his wife Jennifer Flavinthe actor opened up about the couple’s brief split, saying the “very tumultuous time” helped him rethink his priorities.
“There was a reawakening of what was more valuable than anything, which was my love for my family,” he said. The Sunday Times in an article published on October 30. “It takes precedence over my job and it was a hard lesson to learn.”
While his family comes first these days, the 76-year-old, who shares his son Seargeoh, 43, with ex Sasha Czak and girls Sophia26, Sistine24, and Scarlet20 years with Flavin – admitted he used to put Hollywood before his family life.
“I didn’t pay enough attention when they were growing up,” Stallone confessed of his kids. “I was so career-focused and now I’m like, ‘OK, I don’t have a lot of lead ahead of me and I want to start asking them about their lives.'”
