Student found dead in the naval base in Brest: “No intervention by a third party” noted after the autopsy – Brest

“No trace compatible with the intervention of a third party has been found”. This Monday, May 22, 2023, the public prosecutor of Brest detailed the conclusions of the hearings and the autopsy carried out during the weekend, after the discovery of the lifeless body of a young woman in the naval base. “Over the weekend, several relatives of the deceased were heard. The autopsy of the body was performed this morning (Monday). The lesions observed confirm the hypothesis of a fatal fall. In addition, no trace compatible with the intervention of a third party has been found”, specifies Camille Miansoni, public prosecutor of Brest.
The body found dead, Friday evening
On Friday evening, May 19, the body of a 19-year-old student was found dead not far from the Surcouf gate, inside the Brest naval base. The young woman had been missing since early morning, after leaving a nightclub in the port of Brest. On Saturday, relatives of the student came to gather at the place of her disappearance.
