The Golden State Warriors are having a scorching start to the season, having won 13 of their first 15 games and, to anyone’s surprise, they were led by phenomenal play from Stephen Curry.
The two-time former league MVP is so far this season’s MVP favorite, averaging 29.5 points per game, 6.5 assists and a career-high 6.1 rebounds. What has stood out from his performance so far is the 3-point superhuman shot.

In volume, this season’s Stephen Curry even surpasses the entire previous season’s Stephen Curry, who many have already called the greatest shooter of all time. Do not believe me ? Looked:

In 15 games, he broke a career high 5.6 to 3 points per game. At this rate, he is expected to knock down over 450 for the season, which will shatter his previous record of 402, which is already superhuman compared to the others.
Of those 85 3-point games, 51 have come in just six games, including four nine 3-point games (all four have come in the last six games). With each of those wild, high volume nights of Beyond the Arc, he keeps refining the 3 point records he owns. Take his most recent game, for example, the Warriors road game in Cleveland.

Curry scored 40 points, his fourth of the 2021-22 season, with 20 of them in the fourth quarter as he single-handedly outscored the Cavaliers by 12 and inspired Golden State to a comfortable victory.
En route to 40, he knocked down nine 3-pointers. It was his 38th career game of nine or more 3-pointers and the fourth of this season alone.
In fact, he’s been so hot long-distance lately that this match was his. 10th game of nine shots from 3 points or more since April 2021, which is already the NBA record.
What is even more remarkable is its effectiveness on those high volume parties. In the four games this season where he’s shot nine or more 3-pointers, he’s knocked them down at a rate of 54.5%.
Need more? With this play in Cleveland, Curry knocked down 408 3-point in calendar year 2021 which is already an NBA record and the Warriors still have 19 games to play before the start of the new year.
