Spy Kids’ Daryl Sabara Reflects on His Sobriety Journey

During the episode, Meghan recalled one time when she came home from work when she and Daryl were dating and found him smoking a cigarette despite not knowing that he was smoking.

“I saw Daryl in the garden, I’ve been dating him for a while now, I know him so well, I saw a fucking cigarette, I thought it was a lollipop, in his mouth, not on yet, about to turn this on,” said the Grammy winner, who married Daryl in 2018. “He hears me. I’m going, ‘What are you doing?’ Puts it on, hides it in his pocket like a toddler.”

However, Daryl noted that he appreciated Meghan calling him, noting that she “made me a better person”. And the couple continues to have open communication.

“I learned that from you, from dating you,” Meghan, 29, said. “After that, I was like, ‘Do you have any fucking secrets for me?’ And you were like, ‘No, never!’ So it worked.”
