The statement, described as a “New Year’s resolution,” is part of a campaign called #SaveOurSports that was launched in September with the aim of protecting community sport during the pandemic.

The organizations are also highlighting their plans for returning fans to full stadiums to help create “the revenue to reinvest” in base facilities.

Under current coronavirus restrictions in England, a maximum of 4,000 fans are allowed at outdoor events at level one and up to 2,000 supporters can attend in level two zones but none in level three and four.

At level four, indoor gymnasiums and sports facilities must close, while indoor group activities are not permitted at level three.
