Greek authorities say a small private plane crashed into the sea off the Greek island of Samos in the Aegean, killing both people on board
ATHENS – A small private plane crashed at sea off the Greek island of Samos in the eastern Aegean Sea on Monday evening, killing the two people on board, the Greek coastguard said.
State television ERT said the victims were a man and woman from Israel who had planned to visit the island. There was no information about their identity.
The Coast Guard said the wreckage of the plane was found following a search and rescue operation involving patrol boats and fishing boats.
