Who is David Prutton for the victory in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend? Find out here …

Listen to the show Prutton’s Predictions!

David Prutton joins Sky Sports’ Simeon Gholam to discuss all of his league predictions ahead of game week 24. You can listen below as he reveals who he’s backing on Saturday.

Middlesbrough vs. Birmingham, Saturday 12:30 p.m. – Live on Sky Sports Football

Middlesbrough is in good league form. This FA Cup loss to Brentford last week won’t bother Neil Warnock much at all.

Birmingham is in bad shape. Will a return to the riverside inspire Aitor Karanka? I can’t see it if I’m honest.

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (Sky Bet odds)

Saturday January 16 12:00 p.m.

Kick-off at 12:30 p.m.

Cardiff vs. Norwich, Saturday 3 p.m.

Norwich City's Emi Buendia celebrates her side's first goal of the game

Cardiff’s recent form has been sticky. Neil Harris has to turn things around soon, but he probably couldn’t have asked for a tougher game.

Norwich what we have seen where they are. they have done it and have already done it. they’re the championship leaders for a reason it’s a cliché but i think they’ll show their credentials in this one too.

Prutton predicts: 0-2 (Sky Bet odds)

Derby vs. Rotherham, Saturday 3 p.m.

A huge game near the bottom of the table. These two teams are heading into the relegation zone and really need a win.

Chorley’s loss won’t have much of an impact on Derby for obvious reasons. But the talks about the takeover and everything that goes behind the scenes can do the trick. Rotherham lost to Everton, but it was a morale boost in the FA Cup for them. I will be supporting a raffle here.

Prutton predicts: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds)

QPR vs. Wycombe, Saturday 3 p.m.

What a return and what an impact for Charlie Austin at QPR. The first return leg to the side and a big goal in their 2-0 victory at Luton on Tuesday night – a huge result for Mark Warburton’s side.

It was an outright victory for Wycombe over Preston in the FA Cup. Gareth Ainsworth would arguably have traded him for three points in the league, but that will give them confidence in this one. I think there will be goals, but I can’t separate these two. Draw.

Prutton predicts: 2-2 (Sky Bet odds)

Watford v Huddersfield, Saturday 3 p.m.

One win, one loss for Xisco Munoz at Watford so far in the championship. But he had a rough start against Norwich and Swansea in his first two games. Their home record has been good this season, and he will want to keep it up.

Huddersfield advances under Carlos Corberan. They can give anyone a game, but their inconsistency is the reason they end up in the middle of the board. I think it should go the Watford way.

Prutton predicts: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds)

Barnsley vs. Swansea, Saturday 7:45 p.m. – Live on Sky Sports Football

With a few weeks to think about since these last two played in the Championship, it’s worth noting how well they both do and how much they both impressed me. Barnsley, under Valerien Ismael, has been very enjoyable to watch, and we all know what Steve Cooper has done with Swansea.

It has all the qualities of a very good game. Barnsley is not too far from the play-offs and Swansea starts the weekend in the top two. Everything is for playing. I think there will be a few goals, and I think the Swans might just pass him.

Prutton predicts: 2-3 (Sky Bet odds)

Saturday January 16 7:30 p.m.
