Sinkhole at Mexico farm swallows more land, eats at house


MEXICO Metropolis (AP) — A big sinkhole that appeared in late May perhaps in a farm in central Mexico has by now developed greater than a football subject authorities say it is probable to continue on growing.

The sinkhole is now around 400 feet (125 meters) throughout and has begun swallowing a house. The Mexican authorities has sent in soldiers to hold people 2,000 ft (600 meters) absent from the edge of the hole, which is 50 feet (15 meters) deep.
