Sharon Osbourne got off the Ozempic train – because she’s ‘too skinny’ now.
The feisty 70-year-old TV personality spoke candidly about using Hollywood’s favorite weight loss drug, which she says made her lose 30 pounds earlier this year.
Although the drug is intended for people with type 2 diabetes, the famous manager has no shame in using it.
“What you choose is up to you,” Osbourne, who didn’t mention Ozempic by name, told E! News on Wednesday.
Wegovy and Mounjaro are similarly formulated diabetes medications.
“It’s no dirty little secret when you’ve taken something to help you lose weight, which is perfectly fine. We don’t need to bullshit,” Osbourne joked.
The reality TV pioneer also said that she no longer takes weight-loss medication, but still strives to maintain her slimmer physique.
“I’m about to lose too many things that I have to try to keep,” she said.
“In my life, the heaviest weight I weighed was 230 pounds, and I now weigh less than 100 pounds. And I want to keep myself at around 105 pounds because I’m too skinny. But I try to have a healthy balance.
Osbourne added: “It’s different for everyone, but for me the first few weeks were crap because you’re throwing up all the time. You are so nauseous.
“After a few weeks, it passes,” she continued. “And then you’re fine, you don’t feel anything. I’m just not hungry.
Osbourne has previously admitted that she “always had a weight problem”.
“Everyone has something in life,” Osbourne told E! News, “and mine was an eating disorder, and I’ve had it my whole life.”
Meanwhile, her youngest daughter, Kelly Osbourne, 38, is scrambling to quash rumors that she has had plastic surgery following her own slimmed down appearance.
