Senator Joël Labbé jostled “violently” by police [Vidéo] – Morbihan

It was while wanting to join the procession that Joël Labbé was blocked by a group of CRS. “They isolated the demonstrators and I found myself isolated among the journalists”, testifies the senator at the microphone of Tébéo-TébéSud.

“I always defend the police. But among them, there were some who wanted to create a balance of power against non-violent people. The one who jostled me was in the provocation ”…

The incident happened soon after while he was explaining to them. “One of the policemen jostled me with his shield. He pushed me violently to the point where I tripped, ”he continues. “By reflex, I defended myself, I took his shield and I twisted him. I almost knocked him down himself ”.

Joël Labbé will seize the cabinet of Darmanin

Joël Labbé does not intend to give legal follow-up to this incident but he will seize the cabinet of the Elysee and the cabinet of Gérald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior: “To make them aware of the actions of some of their police officers. I always defend the police. But among them, there were some who wanted to create a balance of power against non-violent people. The one who jostled me was in the provocation ”!

Joël Labbé is not traumatized: “Just a little shocked by this violence mounting on the side of some police officers facing a peaceful demonstration”.

200 farmers from the Confédération paysanne had gathered in Paris to block the avenue du Docteur-Gley (20th arrondissement) and invade the premises of Pôle Emploi. They protested against the latest announcements of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which, according to them, reinforce “an agriculture which cannot be sustainable”.
