Palace reveals ledger stone at Queen’s final resting place

Buckingham Palace released a photo on Saturday giving the first public glimpse of the new ledger stone installed at Queen Elizabeth II’s final resting place. Image shows the hand carved Belgian Black Marble slab with brass letter inlays set in the floor of the King George VI Memorial Chapel, St George’s Chapel, at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England. Surrounded by wreaths and bouquets, he is inscribed with his name and the years of his birth and death, alongside those of his father, George VI; his mother, Elizabeth; and her husband, Philip, who died last year.
