Sami Zayn arguably stole a stacked show at WrestleMania this year as he entertained millions with his match against Jackass star Johnny Knoxville.
The Canadian has been a WWE fan favorite for years and has been one of the company’s most trusted performers across the board since signing in 2013.

However, when AEW was formed in 2019, given Zayn’s ties to many of their performers as El Generico prior to his WWE run, many fans suspected that when his contract expired he would consider moving on. to AEW.
However, like Kevin Owens, Zayn decided to stay with WWE and signed a new, lucrative, multi-year deal last year.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Zayn explained how his relationship with McMahon has developed over the years and he believes his stock has gone up in the eyes of the WWE Chairman.
“On a personal level of Vince and I’s relationship, I don’t know,” Zayn said when asked about his relationship with McMahon.
“But I certainly think my stock has gone up tremendously on its books over the last two years. And of course, anytime you can carry something with an outside person, it helps because, in your opinion, he’s invested in them. But I do not know. It’s hard to get a read on this man, it’s really [laughs].

“But he was very nice. I remember when I used to do stuff with Brock [Lesnar]i did something with him [Vince] also on screen.
“And I was thrilled to hear him talking to me and people in a meeting about how much he loved it, being on screen with me and the chemistry we had. I took that like a huge compliment.
“Maybe I shouldn’t even say that [laughs]. I think he likes me, he likes me and I feel good about it. I just feel great about everything, really.

Zayn, 37, is yet to win a world title in WWE, but many fans think he’s doing the best job of his career right now and hearing the respect McMahon has for his performances can’t be help. auspicious.
