Golfing legend Rory McIlroy has insisted he will remain ‘reasonable’ when he travels to a bachelor party just a week before the Ryder Cup.
The Northern Irishman is set to make his seventh appearance at the Team Europe tournament which starts on September 29.

McIlroy and Co. hope to avenge their loss to Team USA in 2021, with this year’s edition taking place in Rome.
With less than a month to go, the 24 golfers will prepare for their participation in the Ryder Cup in the Italian capital.
It appears McIlroy, whose recent back problems have raised concerns over his involvement, has a different twist on his plans as he travels to Greece for the party island of Mykonos a few days prior.
However, Team Europe captain Luke Donald has no reason to worry: “Yes, the problem has arisen.

“There’s nothing wrong with having fun with his friends, but I think he’s got pretty wise shoulders to know he won’t go crazy, so no worries.”
“I’m reasonable when I need to be,” insisted McIlory as he aims for a fifth win with Team Europe at the Ryder Cup.
“It’s only 48 hours, a nice little trip and probably necessary too. So I’m leaving here to train in Rome (with the team next Monday) in Wentworth (for next week’s BMW PGA Championship on Tuesday).

“I return from Mykonos to London on Wednesday evening and then have four good days to prepare for Rome.”
A host of talent will join McIlroy as part of Team Europe, with key stars Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland.
US Open champion Wyndham Clark, Open winner Brian Harman and world number one Scottie Scheffler will represent Team USA.
The 44th Ryder Cup kicks off on September 29 and runs until October 1, and talkSPORT will provide regular updates from Italy throughout the week.
