Recalls in Canada: Plush dinosaur with rattle poses a choking hazard

A toy purchased from dollar stores by tens of thousands of Canadians is being recalled due to a potential choking hazard.
The Chikitoe plush dinosaur is about 16.5 centimeters tall and was sold in green, orange, purple and blue.
A small ball-shaped rattle is contained in the stuffing of the toy, and it could pose a choking hazard if it becomes detached, according to the recall.
It was sold at Dollarama stores and approximately 169,000 were purchased in Canada.
According to a recall notice from Health Canada, the company has received only one incident report in Canada, as of March 1. No injuries were reported.
The notice warned that consumers should immediately stop using the stuffed dinosaur. They must return it and will receive a refund from Dollarama.
The plush dinosaur was sold from September 2021 to January 2023.
