Liverpool got off to a spectacular start to their Champions League campaign as Jordan Henderson’s Gerrard-style goal secured a 3-2 victory over AC Milan at Anfield.
Fikayo Tomori’s own goal gave the hosts an early lead and could have increased by two, but Mohamed Salah’s penalty was saved.
The visitors scored two goals in quick succession in a spectacular first-half comeback, but minutes into the second half, Salah equalized, setting the stage for the winner from Henderson.
