Rapper Nicki Minaj lands on MSNBC’s Joy Reid after swollen testicle vaccine tweet – RT USA News

Nicki Minaj’s skepticism of Covid-19 vaccines did not please MSNBC host Joy Reid, who accused the rapper of putting his fans’ health at risk. Minaj fired back, calling the liberal scholar a “c ** n homophobic liar”.

Minaj shocked her fans on Monday when she claimed that a friend of her cousin’s in Trinidad had been vaccinated and “become helpless” and suffered “inflated” testicles accordingly. The rapper didn’t tell her fans not to get shot, but advised them to “pray over it and make sure you are comfortable with it [your] decision, not intimidated.

Her comments sparked outrage among vaccine enthusiasts, with MSNBC host Joy Reid condemning her on air that night.

“You have a platform, my sister, that has 22 million subscribers, okay? I have 2 million subscribers. You have 22 million followers on Twitter ”, Reid told Minaj. “For you to use your platform to encourage our community not to protect themselves and to save their lives, my God sister, you can do better than that!”

“For you to use your platform to put people in the position of dying from a disease that they don’t have to die from, oh my God. As a fan, as a hip-hop fan, as someone who is your fan, I’m so sad that you did this.

Reid’s scolding didn’t change Minaj’s tone, with the Trinidad-born rapper initially accusing Reid of slandering another black woman on racist grounds.

“This is what happens when you are so thirsty to shoot down another black woman (at the request of the white man), that you haven’t bothered to read all of my tweets,” Minaj tweeted back. “My God, SISTER, do better; imagine having your silly ass on TV a minute after tweeting to spread a fake story about a black woman.

Minaj then unearthed a tweet from Reid last year wondering “Who in the earth of God would trust a vaccine” developed under the Trump administration, as well as a story about Reid’s old anti-gay blog posts, which she blamed “hackers” when they were discovered in 2018.

“I guess I can participate in the reindeer games too, can’t I?” “ Minaj tweeted, calling Reid a “lie homophobic c ** n” and an “uncle Tomiana”.

The rapper didn’t stop there, story former ‘The View’ panelist and Republican expert Meghan McCain at “eat shit” when McCain commented sarcastically “the internet is quite enough for today” on Minaj “swollen testicles” Tweeter.

Born Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty in Trinidad and raised in New York City, Minaj has been a singer since 2004 and made her acting debut a decade later. She has been described as “the most influential rapper of all time” and has the most Instagram followers of any rapper, with 156 million fans.
