Claudio Ranieri returns to service. After almost a year of inactivity following his departure from Watford last January, the former Leicester coach will return to his native country. Claudio Ranieri has just been appointed head of Cagliari, which he already managed between 1988 and 1991. The Sardinian club is currently playing in Serie B, the second Italian division, and has just parted ways with Fabio Liverani. In an official statement, Cagliari announced that Claudio Ranieri has signed a contract for two and a half seasons.
