Quvenzhané Wallis put the booty swagger.
The 18-year-old actress, who first captured the hearts of audiences everywhere in the 2012 film Beasts of the Wild South, looked like she grew up for the premiere of the Apple + TV series, swagger October 26. On the basketball-centric show, produced by the Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant, the Oscar nominee plays a women’s basketball star against many opponents, both on and off the court.
For the series’ first event in New York City, Quvenzhané wore a sequined leopard print suit, paired with a black bralette. As for the actress’s accessories, she opted for black open-toed pumps and a glittery basketball bag, tailored for the occasion.
As moviegoers may recall, Quvenzhané made history in 2012 when she became the youngest to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress (she was only 6 years old when she filmed Beasts of the Wild South). Since then she has starred in a number of successful projects including 12 years of slavery and Annie.
