QuantumScape: The “Forever Battery” stock with millionaire potential | Investment in hypergrowth

Editor’s Note: “QuantumScape: The ‘Forever Battery’ stock with millionaire potentialhas already been published in March 2022. It has since been updated to include the most relevant information available.
Imagine having a $10,000 investment that grew to over $40 million. Well, let me let you in on a little secret. The best way to become a millionaire is to invest in a small group of startups with founders who believe their company can change the world.
Anyone can do it. But the difference between “anybody” and those who become millionaires is the discipline to buy, to hold despite intense volatility, and to wait for the business to actually change the world.
If you had done this with computer stocks like Microsoft (MSFT) And Apple (AAPL) in the 1980s, you would have turned your $10,000 investments into over $42 million Today:
Had you done it with internet stocks like Amazon (AMZN), in the late 90s, you would have turned $10,000 into more than 10 million dollars. Had you done it with cloud actions like netflix (NFLX) at the end of the years, you would have turned $10,000 into a cool $2.5 million today. Whereas in the early 2010s, a $10,000 investment in the electric vehicle (EV) power plant You’re here (TSLA) it would be worth it over a million dollars today.
We’re literally talking about “Millionaire-Maker” opportunities here. – not the 7% a year you get with an index fund or the 3% dividend yield you get with Coca Cola (KO). At this rate, you could still turn $10,000 into a million dollars…by 2091.
Most people don’t want to wait until they’ve fallen to their graves in 2091 to become millionaires. That’s why we all wanna spin thousands In millions taking big bets on small businesses with the potential for global change.
And today, I’d like to introduce you to one of our favorite potential millionaire creator stocks.
A new type of battery to change the world
One of the most hyped investing megatrends in the world these days is the Electric vehicle revolution. In other words, investors and consumers seem convinced that the world is rapidly moving towards electric cars, buses, planes, etc. Everything goes electric!
But the plain truth about the electric revolution is that everything won’t go electric until we make better batteries.
To understand why, let’s quickly go back to chemistry class…
Batteries consist of three things: a cathodeA anodeAnd one electrolyte. Batteries work by circulating ions between a cathode and an anode through the electrolyte.
Conventional lithium-ion batteries are built on liquid battery chemistry. That is, they comprise a solid cathode and anode, with a liquid electrolyte solution connecting the two.
These batteries have worked wonders for years. But due to the physical constraints of dealing with a liquid electrolyte, they are now reaching their limit in terms of energy cell density. This basically means that if we want our electric phones, watches and cars to last longer and charge faster, we need a fundamentally different battery.
This breakthrough is the solid state battery.
With solid state batteries (SSB), the name pretty much says it all. Take the liquid electrolyte solution in conventional batteries, compress it into a solid, and create a small, hyper-compact solid-state battery that lasts much longer and charges much faster.
Of course, the implications of SSB chemistry are enormous.
Solid state batteries will allow our phones to hold a charge for days at a time. They will allow our connected watches to recharge in seconds. And, yes, they will power electric cars that can travel thousands of miles on a single charge.
This is why SSBs are dubbed by insiders as “batteries forever.“That’s why these permanent batteries are the essential technology needed to propel the electric vehicle revolution into its next phase of supercharged growth.
QuantumScape: The Company Solving “Battery Forever” Challenges
While the theory behind solid-state batteries is super exciting, the application of these next-generation batteries has been virtually non-existent to date.
For what? Two major challenges.
First, solid-state batteries are exceptionally expensive to manufacture. Second, they tend to short out due to something called “dendrites.” These are cracks that form in the solid electrolytic substance over time.
But an exciting and promising tech startup by the name of QuantumScape (QS) solves these problems as we speak. And it turns the promising theory of solid-state batteries into a disruptive reality.
Specifically, QuantumScape is a solid-state battery manufacturer that has developed a revolutionary new technology platform solving the cost and performance issues of SSBs.
QS uses an anodeless battery cell design that eliminates anode manufacturing costs, bringing its all-in battery costs 17% lower than the all-in costs of traditional lithium-ion batteries. QuantumScape has also developed a streamlined process for sourcing its materials, which should enable scalable and cost-effective battery manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the company’s proprietary design features a high dendritic resistance ceramic electrolyte. And so, QuantumScape batteries don’t have dendrite issues.
So, by addressing the two major gaps in solid-state battery chemistry, QuantumScape has positioned itself to create a new class of EV batteries. Cheaper batteries, last longer, charge faster, and are overall a better solution than the lithium-ion status quo.
On the basis alone, QS stock has Millionaire-Maker potential.
QuantumScape is more than just a conversation
In December 2020, QuantumScape released performance data for its solid-state battery technology, which broadly highlighted that these batteries are a complete game changer.
The data, based on single-layer battery cell testing, shows that QuantumScape batteries can do the following:
- Charges very quickly: You can charge them up to 80% capacity in just 15 minutes.
- Last forever”: These batteries are capable of traveling hundreds of thousands of kilometers.
- Work in any condition: QS batteries worked even when tested at -30 degrees Celsius.
And that was just data based on single layer testing.
In late 2021, QuantumScape illustrated that its Forever Battery operated in 4-layer formats for up to 800 charge cycles. A quarter later, the company extended the successful results to 10-layer batteries up to 800 cycles. And last year, QuantumScape successfully demonstrated the successful results of its 16-layer battery over 500 cycles. These are totally game-changing features in the world of EV batteries.
Additionally, last December the company shipped its first prototype 24-layer lithium-metal battery cells to automakers for testing. This is a major step towards the commercialization of solid-state batteries.
Need I say more? Solid state batteries have arrived and they will change the world. Now is the time to buy the stocks that are fueling this global battery revolution.
The QuantumScape action is one such action. But it’s far from the only…
The last word
Solid-state batteries are the future and represent one of the most promising technological advancements of the 2020s. Just as computers represented one of the most promising technological breakthroughs of the 1980s; the internet represented one of the most promising technological breakthroughs of the 1990s; the cloud represents one of the most promising technological advances of the 2000s.
If you had bought the stocks when they were still in the early stages of transforming the world, you would have transformed a relatively small investment of $10,000 in multi-million dollar paydays.
Unfortunately, you cannot go back in time. Fortunately, history does what it does best – repeating itself. Now you have another chance to get it right… another chance to make millions with big bets on tiny stocks.
Mark my words: some of the biggest stock market winners in the 2020s will be solid-state battery makers. QuantumScape projects are among these mega-winners. But it won’t be alone. In fact, it might not even be the biggest winner…
On the contrary, this title is reserved for a tiny manufacturer of completely new solid-state batteries whose the stock is trading under $3 right now.
Less than $3…and this business could potentially change the world in the next decade.
The upside potential of this small stock is enormous.
Learn all about this hypergrowth mega-stock at the epicenter of the greatest technological revolution of our lifetimes.
