Tens of thousands of Israelis demonstrated again across the country against the government’s plan to restrict the powers of the Supreme Court.
This is the 11th week of mass protests, as opponents of the reforms accuse right-wing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of undermining judicial independence.
Mr Netanyahu, who is on trial for corruption, said his aim was to restore a balance of power between the government and Israel’s highest court.
Escalating protests have impacted the economy and prompted some military reservists to threaten to defy call-up orders.
