Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stand against a British broadcaster.
Jeremy Clarkson apologized on January 16 for a controversial article he wrote for The sun in December, which detailed his hatred for the Duchess of Sussex “on a cellular level”.
He shared in a new Instagram post that on Christmas Day he “emailed Harry and Meghan in California apologizing” for the article, which was reportedly removed from the website.
According to Jeremy, “I said I was confused by what they were saying on TV but the language I used in my column was shameful and I was deeply sorry.”
However, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan refutes this claim, saying in a statement to E! News that her Christmas letter was only addressed to Harry.
While the spokesperson said “the content of his correspondence was marked Private and Confidential”, the representative went on to condemn the author and the article.
