PERIL! Host Mayim Bialik tore viewers apart for criticizing her controversial wardrobe and defending her “geeky” outfits.
Mayim, 46, defended her appearance during the Fox Upfront in New York.
The danger! The hostess spoke to the New York Post about being judged by viewers for her wardrobe.
She revealed: “The thing is, we don’t live in a culture where I can wear a gray suit and then a blue suit, but maybe next year we’ll see.
“I don’t think anyone should think about it that much, especially me.”
Mayim continued, “I’m one of those people who thinks red carpets should have a standard set of women’s dresses. We don’t have that many.
“You can do long sleeves or short sleeves – that’s it, and everyone goes home.”
The Blossom actress went on to explain what a “nerd” is to her, outside of the realms of Star Wars and Dungeons & Dragons.
She explained: “I think my idea of a good time is reading academic papers.
“In my normal life, I fall into the very, very nerdy, geeky category. I don’t normally look like that.”

Mayim explained why she wore the same blazer: “There’s a budget on Jeopardy! People!”
She confessed: “I grew up with a bathroom until I was 15 and my brother was 19.
“We are budgeting!”
The Big Bang Theory actress promised, “I’ll put it back! And I will.”
She jokingly wrote about being a “recidivist” in the caption to her Instagram post.
Mayim added, “That’s right! I rehearsed a blazer!
“You caught me! And I will do it again!
A PERMANENT HOST?
Meanwhile, fans are waiting to hear if Mayim or co-host Ken Jennings will be announced as Jeopardy’s new permanent host!
The former champion is currently on hiatus but will return before the end of the season in July.
Mayim’s sitcom Call Me Kat has been renewed by the Fox network for a third season.
The sitcom’s production schedule could pose logistical challenges to its future on the game show.
Viewers eagerly shared their theories on which of the two presenters will become the new host and who they would prefer.
Mayim and Ken replaced legendary host Alex Trebek, who passed away in 2020.
