The Raiders opened the Allegiant Stadium to their fans in style. Las Vegas earned a 33-27 victory over the Ravens in “Monday Night Football” after a crazy comeback and round trips in the fourth quarter and overtime.
It looked like the Raiders won the game on their first possession in overtime. Bryan Edwards caught a deep pass and almost managed to turn it into a touchdown. In fact, the game was originally called a score and both teams began to leave the field before a review canceled the appeal.

Even still, it appeared the Raiders would score. Derek Carr tried to squeeze in from the 1-yard line. He almost broke the plane, but he couldn’t quite do it.
That’s when things started to get crazy. A false start penalty allowed the Raiders to gain five yards, which forced them to pitch in an effort to end the game. Carr had Willie Snead wide open for potential victory, but Snead couldn’t hang on to the ball. The Ravens ended up intercepting him after he bounced off DeShon Ellliott’s helmet.

The Ravens had the chance to mount a winning practice, but it never came to fruition. Carl Nassib – the first openly gay player to appear in a regular-season NFL game – managed to sack Lamar Jackson and force a fumble. It helped the Raiders win the game.
Las Vegas was going to hit a potential winning basket, but they couldn’t find kicker Daniel Carlson. As a result, they were given a 5-yard penalty and chose to make another play on the second down to regain a few yards. It was then that Zay Jones broke free in high school and caught a wide open TD pass to seal the victory.
